Purnima Samaroo
Project Controls Associate
Purnima Samaroo, Project Controls Associate, monitors project budgets, analyzes monthly requisitions and tracks contract-budget alignment. She also excels at helping clients secure funding from public agencies, and making sure they meet the requirements of funding agencies throughout the project. Purnima has experience with both renovations and new construction projects in public and private sectors, supporting educational, community, health science, and residential projects.
Purnima holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting and has ten years of experience in project accounting in architecture and engineering firms. Prior to joining UPC, Purnima served as a project accountant at Superstructures Engineers and Architects, and at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

Purnima was the project accountant on multiple City hospital projects. She managed monthly invoicing and reporting for non-profit and private hospitals damaged by Hurricane Sandy throughout NYC.
